The hugely experienced Subhasish Roy Chowdhury is one of the most consistent goalkeepers in the country. Known for his anticipation, cool-headedness and safe pair of hands, the Tata Football Academy graduate started his professional career with East Bengal.
His decision to sign for Mahindra United in 2005 was the turning point of his career and by his own admission the best phase, as he grew in stature under Derrick Pereira. He soon broke into the Indian football team and played four games.
After a four-year spell with the Jeepmen he successfully guarded the posts for Goan giants Dempo. Chowdhury was a part of eventual winners Atlético de Kolkata in Hero ISL 2014 and moved to Delhi Dynamos FC the following season. He will be hoping for more game time with FC Goa in Hero ISL 2016.
