Delhi Dynamos FC have some unlikely fans who turn up at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium for every match played by the home team in the Hero Indian Super League. They are a group of kids from My Angels Academy, a trust based in the national capital and founded by Sylvester Peter, which enriches the lives of underprivileged children by teaching them the vital lessons of life through the beautiful game of football.

These little angels are enthusiastic football lovers and a group of them numbering about 50 and all dressed in orange, the jersey colour of the Dynamos, are most conspicuous in a section of the stadium as they lustily cheer the home team. They have even composed their own special chant for the Dynamos. “We support the home team as we are Dilliwalas and we will always cheer for the Dynamos,” said one of the angels.

Of course, some of them also like the game of the visiting teams, for example, Chennaiyin FC. “Chennaiyin FC is playing well and I think they will win the league,” another angel remarked.

When asked about their favorite players in the Dynamos squad, they shouted out the names of Juventus legend Alessandro Del Piero and the skilled Brazilian, Gustavo dos Santos. The Angels have faith in the Dynamos and hope that their team will acquire a few more wins in their upcoming games and qualify for the playoffs.

When FC Goa played in the national capital, the angels got an opportunity to meet Zico, the Brazilian legend and coach of the visiting team. The youngsters were extremely thrilled on the occasion and screamed, “Zico is God!”

The angels get their match tickets either from the Delhi Dynamos or the Baichung Bhutia Football Schools for free and are thrilled at the opportunity of watching some of the best players in the world in action in their own backyard.
