Pronay Halder is a technically sound defensive midfielder who is known for his tactical awareness. The Tata Football Academy graduate first burst onto the scene with AIFF developmental side Pailan Arrows. He went on to represent Goan giants Dempo SC in the I-League. Despite being picked by the FC Goa side for the inaugural edition of the ISL, he was forced to drop out owing to an injury. He has represented India at the under-19 and under-22 levels and also made his senior India debut against Nepal under the tutelage of Stephen Constantine. A runner-up with FC Goa in Hero ISL 2015, Halder will be hoping to go one better in the blue of Mumbai City FC in the upcoming season.
