Rehenesh T P started playing football in 2005 in Kerala. He is an all-round keeper and is good in the air and on the ground too and his footwork is nimble. Rehenesh played in age group tournaments in his home state and joined the Sports Authority of India in 2006. He also captained the team in the Subroto Cup, playing as a central defender.
He began his professional career with Golden Threads in 2010-11 and played for them in the I-League second division at Guwahati. He then moved to ONGC, Mumbai Tigers and was finally loaned to Rangdajied United in 2013. He joined Shillong Lajong in 2014.
Rehenesh was the first choice goalkeeper for NorthEast United FC in Hero ISL Season 1 , keeping 5 clean sheets in 12 matches.
- Made 40 saves in Hero ISL Season 1, the 2nd highest by an Indian goalkeeper (after Subrata Paul)
- At the age of 22 he has got four years of I-league experience.
- 5 Clean Sheets in 12 ISL games in ISL Season 1. (Joint 3rd in ISL 2014)
